FOURTH OF JULY FESTIVITIES
We are finalizing the details of the 2018 UA Aquatics parade float!
The objective is to celebrate and promote UA Aquatics to the Upper Arlington community while providing positive interaction across all groups, including: UASC age groups, UAHS Swimming and Diving, Girls Water Polo and Boys Water Polo.
Every year, the UASC club is invited to participate in float building and to ride/walk along side the float. Riding on the float is reserved for our High School teams!
The High School teams will host the club at the float building activities on Tuesday, July 3rd after practices and will provide food and drinks as well as decorations for the age group riders to decorate their scooters. This is a fun way for our age group swimmers to interact with our High School teams.
The float building will take place at Northwest Christian Church in the west parking lot (1340 Fishinger Road at Northstar Road).
As we get closer to the parade, we will share details in regards to our parade start location and time.
This year's parade theme is "A Cherished Past, A Golden Future" to celebrate our 100 year centennial.
We are working on a T-shirt for all parade participants to purchase and wear that will really showcase the size of the UA Aquatics programs and incorporate the theme.
