THT Summer Steam
So many thanks to all of you parents that helped us run a great meet. Our visiting teams enjoyed themselves, and had some solid, fast swims.
I want to say a special thank you to Edie Myers, who flew solo in running her first ever meet as Meet Director. That is a big job, and I want to say thank you specially to her for taking on that new job.
We had numerous swims that were best times (over 60%). We had many new cuts, so a special good job to Claire Parsons for a zone cut in the mile, Mea Targett, Layla Johnson, and Mackenzie Engle for new divisional cuts.
High point winners included Layla Coleman (6+Under Girls), Ty Lauritzen (7-8 Boys), Demme Hancewicz (11-12 Girls).
Great job to all Torpedoes and families!
Here is a link to photographs taken by the team photographer Jamie Oberste-Vorth. Her website has pictures for sale, and a percentage will come back to the team.
