Hello SVY Families,
I am very excited to announce plans for the installation of a new air cleaning system at the Bridgewater YMCA! This new BioOx system uses free-standing units with patented biotechnology that will be installed on deck in strategic locations around the pool. The units capture the chloramines that get produced at water level, drawing them in and expelling clean air right at the source, which should result in our athletes (and all staff and members!) exeriencing noticeable changes in the air quality at the branch.
These units are scheduled to be installed next week, and we are hopeful that this will be a game-changer for the branch. For more information on this system, please visit their website, and see this video about a system installed recently at the Hagerstown YMCA.
