Kyle began swimming club at age 8 and about halfway through his career found himself swimming for Somerset Hills YMCA under Coach Peter. As a (self-proclaimed) 200 butterflier, Kyle qualified for YMCA Nationals twice and although it was a huge goal of his, he really just enjoyed being a part of the team and supporting those around him. A true summer swimmer at heart, Kyle taught swim lessons for many years and served as Assistant Coach for three summers at Middlesex Community Pool. Kyle also previously served as Assistant Coach at Metuchen Edison YMCA. Kyle sees coaching as a great way to mentor and guide others through the ups and downs of competition.
Kyle graduated from Rutgers University in summer 2020 with a Master’s Degree in Mathematics Education. By day, he is a passionate and caring math tutor. Though he is an algebra and calculus whiz, he might need your help figuring out the next interval. Outside of work, Kyle enjoys running, video games, and playing with his dogs. He loves spending time with his partner Kiera, who he was somehow lucky enough to meet behind the blocks in high school.
