Weekly News (March 29th to April 4th)

Hello to all Panther Swimmers,

The weather is heating up and hopefully so will our swimmers this afternoon in the 5th annual “Girls vs Boys” sprint fun meet. I believe the boys are the reigning champions, but this is a new year and the girls will be ready.

Important Notes:

Today: March 29th 25m pool swimming is canceled for the all ages “Girls vs. Boys” swim meet at the 50m pool:

All coaches and most swimmers will be competing at the 50m pool on this day. If you are not competing and would like to make up this lesson on another day, please feel free to do so any day that week.

50m pool water temperatures:

Just a quick note to let you know that the temperatures at the big pool are climbing with this last heat wave and also because the last storm ripped our protective shades.

Currently the pool is at 31 degrees Celsius. If the pool were to get over 32.9 degrees we could not train in that water and the pool would be closed until temperature drops or the sails are re-installed.

We will keep you posted.

***25m pool is fine and we do not foresee any problems as all shades were not damaged during storm.

Palooza Speeding tickets (Covid can’t slow us down)
