Meet the coaches/suit fitting event

  • Please stop by the pool Friday between 5:30-7:30 for our meet the coaches/swimsuit fitting event.
  • Cy’s will be there to assist with suit fittings and will have team suits available for purchase.
  • The coaches will be there to answer your questions.
  • Each swimmer present will get a coupon for a free Kona Ice.  Additional ices will be available for purchase and a portion of your purchase will benefit the team.
  • There will be no swim practice on Friday.

Social distancing at practice

For the health and safety of our swimmers, please remind your swimmers that we are going to maintain 3 feet of distance between swimmers when it is at all possible.

Practice guidelines

  • In order to promote social distancing and to avoid the cost of extra lifeguards at the pool, we encourage parents to drop their swimmers off no earlier than 5 minutes before practice and pick them up no later than the end of practice.
  • For swimmers age 10 and under:  please plan to walk your swimmers into the pool and meet them at the end of practice in the grassy area to the right of the sidewalk when you enter the pool.
  • For swimmers age 11 and older: swimmers can either be let out at the pool entrance or walked into practice.  Swimmers in this practice can be picked up at the end of practice in the grassy area to the right of the sidewalk or meet their parents in the parking lot.  Please be careful, when entering and exiting the parking lot, of swimmers walking to and from their cars.
  • Parents who do not feel comfortable leaving their swimmers at practice can stay but must remain in the grassy area to the right of the sidewalk when you enter the pool.  Please bring your own chair and plan to keep any children who are not engaged in practice with you in this area.
  • Children who are not participating in practice are welcome to use the playground behind the pool area that is located outside the fenced area.

Attention rising 6th graders

We are looking for volunteers to help set up for our Meet the Coaches Night/Swimsuit Fitting.  This is a good way to get a jump start on your service-learning hours.  If you are interested in helping, please arrive at the pool by 5pm.  Older swimmers are welcome and will also earn service-learning hours.

There will be other opportunities for our rising 6th graders to earn hours throughout the season.
