Dear New Jersey Swimmers,

We are thrilled to announce that we will be hosting the first ever athlete leadership summit in New Jersey Swimming. We are also excited to announce that the Eastern Zone Athlete Director Aaron Zhu will be the facilitator for this summit. This summit will be a great opportunity to provide valuable training and skills to future athlete leaders in New Jersey Swimming. The summit will focus on three key concepts: LSC Governance, Leadership Styles and Values, and Diversity Equity and Inclusion. It is tailored towards high school swimmers and specifically those who are entering Freshman/Sophomore year who can use this as an opportunity to gain a better knowledge of LSC governance before running for the Junior Athlete Representative position. The leadership summit will take place on Sunday June 20th and will be held virtually via zoom. The summit will run from 9:00AM to 1:15PM. It is limited to 40 participants so be sure to sign up as soon as you can to better your chances of being able to attend. The selection process is first come first serve using time stamps on google forms.
