COVID-19 HANDBOOK

With the State of Delaware significantly relaxing its Covid-19 regulations, and with the universal mask mandate in Delaware removed as of May 21, Delaware Swim Team relaxed its policies in the Covid-19 Handbook.  The new handbook was sent out yesterday, June 1, and went into effect immediately.  The Covid-19 Handbook is available here, and is also available in the "Documents" tab.

Changes for the summer include, but are not limited to:
~ Fully vaccinated coaches will not wear masks inside or outside, unless closer than 3 feet from a swimmer for a sustained period of time.
~ Fully vaccinated swimmers do not need to wear masks inside.
~ Swimmers, regardless of vaccination status, do not need to wear masks outside for outdoor practices.
~ Swimmers may use the locker rooms to change before and after practice at New Castle and Pike Creek.
~ Parents may enter the Pike Creek facility and watch practices from the hallway by the locker rooms.

There are still some policies in place for the summer, so families should still be vigilant in following remaining protocols.  These include, but are not limited to:
~ Swimmers must maintain 3 feet of separation from each other at all times.
~ Unvaccinated swimmers must wear masks indoors, unless actively swimming.  This especially applies to locker room usage.
