Great Season So Far! Three dual meets, three wins!
Scores are as follows -
Aqua Club 683.5
Aqua Club 640
View Ridge 462
Aqua Club 608
Sheridan Beach 485
The meet this week was fantastic. We matched up well against Sheridan Beach and the kids swam their hearts out. There were tons of best times! I also loved the atmosphere at both pools - Lots of kids cheering on and encouraging each other. So glad that we have the chance to do this again.
Our opponent for next week is Sand Point Country Club. 8/10 groups will be at SP on Tuesday and 12/14/18 groups are home on Thursday. Sand Point is an experienced, tough team with a bunch of super fast swimmers. They’ve won the city title for the last few years, so we will have our work cut out for us. We’ll put in our best lineup and give them a good fight. Let’s challenge ourselves to swim our best times in each race so that we can finish our dual meet season on a strong note.
When we’re updating the best times sheets after each meet, we are always astounded at some of the time drops. Our kids are really working hard - and it’s paying off in the pool.
Remember that you can track your swimmer’s times by logging into the Team Unify website and clicking on “My Account” and then “My Meet Results”.
Full results of league meets and rankings of qualified swimmers are on the league website.
At the finish of the dual meet season, qualified swimmers are eligible to participate in the championship season. Swimmers that reach a qualifying time standard swim at the North Division Preliminaries*. The same process occurs in the south part of our league on the same days. The overall fastest eight results, regardless of North or South affiliation, are entered in the All-City Championship meet.
*All swimmers participating in prelims must be available to swim at the August 3rd All-City Championship meet. Some swimmers with non-qualifying times may still participate in Prelims if they are placed on a relay. These participants are selected after the last dual meet is completed.
Remember to mark “attend/decline” for all of the championship meets, even if you’re not sure if you qualify.

Swim Lessons & Race Class
Don’t forget to register for swim lessons! Classes are smaller than a typical swim practice, so each swimmer gets more attention and instruction. Contact Coach Megan or any office staff member for more information.
We still have two Saturday clinics left – 7/17 and 7/24. Registration will be available online. Cost is $10.
