Jillian Best's Mission - Further Details & Information

Jillian’s goal through her Move for Life Foundation again is to raise money and awareness about the importance of organ transplants and to help London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC) invest in equipment that helps people waiting for transplants survive. The money raised from the swim will help LHSC’s transplant unit at University Hospital to buy a normothermic regional perfusion machine, medical equipment that keeps donated organs viable for a longer period of time.

GoFundMe campaign set up to support Jillian's mission has already raised over $92,000 as of Thursday afternoon (Aug 5th, 2021).
