Schedule this week and again starting August 30 (Fall Schedule)

11:45-1:00 PM - 50M Pool

End of Summer Team Party and Celebration

Hope you will join us Sunday, August 22 as we come together as a team to celebrate an outstanding end of summer and for being the SW ZONE CHAMPIONS!

How We Train

The Mission Viejo Nadadores Masters Fall Training Program

Short Course Meters Season:
Fitness/ Aerobic Base/Technique (Sept. - Dec.)

We primarily train competitive/fitness swimming with the opportunity to attend the Mission Mile at Lake Mission Viejo in September and our October 3 SCM meet with the highlight of the season being the SPMA SCM Championship Meet and for the fitness swimmer completing the USMS Postal One-Hour Swim.

We train all systems with focus on aerobic endurance, pacing, vo2, flip turns, and stroke technique.

We will also focus on the development of the following 5 elements:

Skills:    Fundamentals, timing, breathing, and balance

Technique: Drills, perfect strokes, maximum distance per stroke, proper kicking

Endurance: the ability to sustain speed and be fatigue resistant

Turns: fast, powerful, explosive with great streamlining

Starts: Strong, powerful, explosive with great streamlining.


Our main goal is to help you feel competent and confident in your

abilities to reach your goals and maximize your performances.
