New USA Swimming MAAPP Policies

NEW USA SWIMMING MAAPP POLICIES

"Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy"

***VJO Written Agreement Needs to be Signed by All VJO Swimmers and Parents/Legal Guardians***

USA Swimming has released an updated Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy (MAAPP) as part of its commitment to safeguard athletes. All USA Swimming clubs are required to implement this Minor Athlete Abuse Prevention Policy in full.

 

The MAAPP Policy must be reviewed and agreed to in writing by all athletes, parents/legal guardians, coaches and other non-athlete members of Vallejo Aquatic Club. This written agreement is to be retained by the club and renewed on an annual basis per USA Swimming policy.

PRINT & SIGN the VJO WRITEN AGREEMENT to "MAAPP" Policy

 

Please print and sign the VJO Written Agreement to "MAAPP" Policy and return to your coach as soon as possible. See Coach Jennifer at the pool for extra printed copies of the "VJO Written Agreement" and  "MAAPP Policy in Full"

 

These required updates come from the  U.S. Center for SafeSport   (the “Center”). USA Swimming’s updated MAAPP document has been approved by the Center and is required to be fully implemented by USA Swimming, its Zones, LSCs and member clubs.

 

 

 

Starting September 1st 2021 the Vallejo Aquatic Club will be adopting the NEW USA Swimming MAAPP Policies
