WRA Home Meet: October 10th (Registration deadline: October 7th)

Fair Day: October 11th 
To give our families an opportunity to attend the GA National Fair, we will not have afternoon practice on Monday, October 11th. Blue 1 will have a make up practice on Friday, October 15th, from 6:00-6:45. See more details here.

ABSC Fall Classic: October 23rd-24th (Registration deadline: October 10th)
UGA/Athens, GA. Open to Silver, Gold, and Platinum swimmers who meet the qualifying times for their chosen events, as well as 12 & Under Bronze and Blue swimmers who have previously swum 50 yards of any event they want to enter. See meet information and sign up here.

Swim A Thon: October 26th
Come swim laps and help raise money for your team and the USA Swimming Foundation. Remember, for crowd control purposes, we are asking that all swimmers declare their intent to participate via the "Job Signup" button found on the event page. See more details and sign up here.

Annual Fundraising Deadline: October 26th
All WRA families have agreed to a $150/year fundraising commitment, unless they have opted-in to the Non-Fundraising billing option. Both the Swim A Thon and Partnership Campaign opportunities are currently underway. Any family that has not met their fundraising commitment by October 26th will have the difference billed to their 11/01 invoice. If you have any questions about fundraising, or want to sign up for the Non-Fundraising billing option, please feel free to email [email protected]

Music City Showdown: November 6th-7th (Registration deadline: October 22nd)
Macon, GA. Open to all Silver, Gold, and Platinum swimmers, as well as 12 & Under Bronze and Blue swimmers who have previously swum 50 yards of any event they want to enter. See details and sign up here.

Practice Rules / COVID-19

Our current practice rules are as follows:

1) If you have COVID-19, have symptoms of COVID-19, or have been around someone diagnosed with COVID-19, you will not be allowed to participate.
  • Some symptoms include fever and/or cough, please consult the CDC website for a comprehensive list.

2) Locker rooms will be closed, except as needed for emergency restroom use only.

  • Swimmers must arrive and leave in their suits.
  • Maximum 3 swimmer occupancy at a time.
  • No showering or changing.

3) Parents are not allowed on the pool deck/within the fence.

  • Parents are allowed to observe from outside of the fence.
  • If you need to speak with a coach, please make an appointment by emailing [email protected]

4) Parents should not leave the location during practice.

  • Swimmers will be required to leave the gate immediately at the conclusion of practice, and will then be assumed to be under their parent's supervision.
We appreciate your cooperation. We hope to create an environment where everyone feels comfortable, while having fun practicing with their teammates. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

Committee Corner: Officials

Want to get more involved in the sport? Become a USA Swimming official. Officials are given access to swim meets, even when spectators are not allowed, and it will help our team prepare to host meets when the new pool is built.
