January Attendance Challenge Results:
1st place: Silver A
2nd place: Pre-Senior
3rd place: Bronze B
Congratulations to Silver A for winning the January Attendance Challenge! We will be in touch to schedule a well-earned celebration!
Secondary Practice Locations:
The UPAC board and team leadership continue to seek out consistent availability at secondary practice locations to ensure uninterrupted training schedules. Our Senior group has had the opportunity to use the University of Puget Sound’s facility - thanks to everyone’s generous contributions and volunteering at their home meets! However, due to campus restrictions, our Seniors are the only group able to use the UPS pool for training.
We continue to look for a secondary facility to ensure all groups are able to train when there are conflicts at the Curtis Aquatic Center. Our priorities in this search are:
- Proximity to Curtis / Commute convenience
- Comparable availability for training times
Group Meetings:
Coaches are excited to meet their athletes' support networks and to present their group mission, expectations, and procedures. But, we will be holding off on scheduling these in-person meetings until we are confident we are past the Omnicon spike. Thank you for understanding!
As always, you are encouraged to reach out to your group coach through email, or find them on deck either before or after a training session. UPAC coaches strive to instill qualities in our athletes that will aid their future success in the pool and the world in general. Some of these include; intrinsic motivation for self-improvement, the enjoyment of competition, and community building.
New Scoreboard Alert!
The Curtis Aquatic Center is getting a new, full color, scoreboard! This is super exciting. If you have ever seen the current scoreboard fully lit up, you know why this is also completely necessary.
The new scoreboard is scheduled to be installed the week of Feb. 14th - 18th. It is unclear if any programming adjustments will be needed to accommodate the installation. We will communicate any practice changes as early as possible, but some of these notices may come at the last minute. Again, we thank you for your understanding and we look forward to being able to show off the new scoreboard at the upcoming February Fly-In Invitational!

Volunteering
As a reminder, each family is required to log 40 hours of volunteer time - either through in person volunteering or hospitality donations. We cannot successfully put on our upcoming February Fly-In without you!! Please take a look and consider being on deck and bringing hospitality items.
Additionally, we have ONE more important opportunity to volunteer at the University of Puget Sound meets. These meets not only serve as a fundraiser for UPAC but also allow us the opportunity to have access to additional pool space for our Senior training groups.
