13 team records set at Sectionals

13 team records (6 individuals and 7 relays) were set at Sectionals and all 12 swimmers were involved in setting them! Way to go, WORTHINGTON!

- Paige Delma in the women's 200 meters breaststroke with a time of 2:46.24 erasing a 22 years-old record.
- Eric Albers in the men's 200 meters breaststroke with a time of 2:26.51.
- The relay team of Matt Fralic, Nathan Ambler, Connor Florence and Zach Barnes, improving the men's 200 freestyle relay by more than 3 seconds to 1:40.06 and erasing a 27 years-old record.
- Natalie Holub and to Paige Delma both swam under the team record in the women's 200 meters breaststroke. Paige swam the race in 2:45.47 and in the same heat at finals, Natalie set the new team record at 2:44.35.
- Eric Albers with a top-10 finish while lowering the team record in the men's 200 meters breaststroke by another 2 seconds+! The new team record now stands at 2:24.25.
- The women's 200 meters medley relay of Sloane Antonetz, Evie DeCarlo, Paige Delma and Nanami Campbell lowered the previous record by more than 4 seconds to 2:03.44. The previous mark was set 22 years ago.
- The men's 200 meters medley relay of Matt Fralic, Mason Deerwester, Connor Florence and Zach Barnes erased a 36 years-old record with a time of 1:52.19.
- Paige, Sloane, Evie and Nanami: 200 free relay (1:50.89) and 400 free relay (4:01.25).
- The team of Sloane, Natalie, Paige and Nanami in the women’s 400 medley relay with a time of 4:34.06.
- The team of Matt, Eric, Jack and Zach in the men’s 400 medley relay with a time of 3:59.43 and a 6th place finish.
- Matt’s leading leg of the relay with a time of 1:01.03 in the 100 backstroke.
- Eric in the men’s 100 breaststroke with a time of 1:05.47.
