A note from Coach Mike
Message from Coach Mike:
I am ecstatic to welcome everyone back for another season with the Westminster Stingrays this summer. I wanted to share a quote with everyone that I believe holds true to our community. “Home is where your family is.” The past 2 years our team has gone through unparalleled challenges that no other CMSL team has faced. However, against all odds we are able to once again wear blue and yellow for another season. Every hardship we’ve had to overcome these last 2 years I believe has made us the toughest team in our league.
The dedication and effort everyone has put forth to come together, no matter the distance or location speaks volumes of how strong our community is. I have always said that I saw stingrays as much more than just a summer swim team, I see us as a family. Home isn’t where your “home pool” is, home is where the team is. We will make our season at McDaniel College memorable and help every swimmer grow as an athlete. Next summer when we jump into our new city pool, we will look back at these memories and how they’ve shaped us into an even stronger community.
See you this summer!
