Greetings, 757swim!  

Enclosed you will find information on upcoming events and reminders.

For those interested in running for a position on the Board of Directors, the application is now available on the website and due by April 25th.  Please download and complete the application, e-mailing it to [email protected] .

Spirit wear should arrive next week.  An email will go out as soon as it is available for pick-up.

A special thank you to those who helped during the two landscape committee mulching days:  the O’Brien family, Katherine Sokolowsky, Alexander Radkevich, Tuska Benes, and Harper Fly.  It was great to meet a few of you and see swimmers lending a hand.  

Congratulations to all of our swimmers during their championship meets!  I enjoyed seeing pictures of the fun they had.  Meet reports are now available under the News tab .

Volunteering

Team volunteer requirements have been cut in half for this season only.   Team Volunteer policy can be found here .  For questions about your specific group requirements, check with your Group Captain.  Your current number of volunteer hours can be found by logging into your TeamUnify account on the 757swim website. 

Spirit Wear

The March order of spirit wear has arrived.  It will be available for pick up at the pool starting at 3pm on Thursday April 14 . 

Run the Dog 5K - April 16th

Once again, 757swim will participate in the Run the DOG 5K on Saturday, April 16 at 7:30 am, with proceeds benefiting Habitat for Humanity. 757swim has 41 participants signed up this year.  Due to popularity, the entire event is now full and not accepting any more registrations, but if you aren’t racing be sure to come out and cheer on our athletes.  All practices are canceled on Saturday for this event.  

Fundraising

Our Annual Raffle will kick off right after Spring Break.  This is your last chance to fundraise before fundraising balances are billed June 1.  To check your fundraising balance, please log into your Team Unify account on the 757swim website.  You can review the team fundraising policy or reach out to your Group Captain with questions.

Deck Clean Up Day - May 6th

Pool deck clean-up will be Friday, May 6th starting at 9:00am.  This is a great way to earn volunteer credits.  To volunteer and/or provide equipment please sign-up here !  Please e-mail Al Kastner at [email protected] if you have any questions.

Poker Tournament

A poker tournament fundraiser is being planned for May 7th.  Please save the date!  More details are forthcoming.

Away Meet Hotel Information  

We are working to secure room blocks for the Long Course Away Meets.  Away meet hotel information can be found on the website .

Summer Swim Prep  

Summer swim season is just around the corner.  Please tell your friends about summer swim prep!  May 3-26, Tuesday/Thursday from 5-6pm.  Cost is $125.  For more information, email [email protected] .
