The Weekend Review - Wall Of Fame Induction & Some Excellent Swims

City Of London Aquatic Wall Of Fame Induction Ceremony Review
Middlesex Swimming would like to again congratulate Jillian Best on being the 1st transplant athlete as well as our club's 1st ever inductee to the City Of London Aquatic Wall Of Fame for her performances at the 2017 World Transplant Games in Spain and 2019 World Transplant Games in England. This is on top of Jillian's efforts this past summer that took her on a journey to raise awareness and money through her Move for Life foundation for game-changing transplant equipment at the London Health Sciences Centre by swimming across Lake Ontario.

Jillian campaign ended up raising over $150,000.00 for London Health Sciences Centre and we look forward to continuing to help her achieve her goals both in the water and out of it moving forward as Jillian continues on her efforts to inspire others to chase their dreams and change people's lives in the greater community through her Move For Life foundation to keep on raising awareness about organ donation.
Middlesex Swimming  would also like to congratulate Maggie Macneil and Charis Huddle on their respective inductions into the Wall Of Fame for their performances on the international stage as Canadian National Team Members as well as thank the City Of London for refurbishing the Wall Of Fame and putting together such a wonderful ceremony.
We look forward to others from within our club and across the community being added to the Wall Of Fame for years to come inspiring those young and old to get involved within aquatics for life.
2022 Hollandia Spring Invitational Swim Meet Review
Congratulations to all of our athletes who participated in the 2022 Hollandia swim meet that was held by the London Aquatic Club this past weekend at the Canada Games Aquatic Centre!!! Our club had a bunch of first time swimmers dive into the water to race, award winners, best time performers, and more importantly our athletes had a wonderful experience.
Again our club also would like to thank Coach Cindy and Coach Mackenzie for making sure everyone had an excellent experience, swam up a storm, and had loads of fun :)

Our club looks forward to further great performances this upcoming weekend at the Canadian Masters Championships held in Quebec where more of our athletes are heading to splash and dash against the best in the country - GOOD LUCK, we know you'll all make us proud!!!
