Weekly Update - Week 5 (June 20)

Hi Swim Team Families!
Welcome to another great swim team week! We have our first
swim meet at HOME tomorrow, and an away meet at Miamisburg
on Thursday. Regular swim practices will continue, even on
meet days.
For tomorrow's meet, please plan to arrive by 4:30pm if you are
setting up a shade tent. Cardinal Hill’s team typically
sets up on the gaga pit hill and around the diving board, while the
away team will set up around the shallow end. Don’t
forget to bring: several towels, goggles, plenty of water, cash,
healthy snacks, and a Sharpie! Concessions will have
hamburgers, hot dogs, and snack bar items. There will be a
limited number of Chick-fil-A chicken sandwiches for cash only, and
Tropical Sno will be on site for post-swim treats.
There are a few volunteer jobs available for tomorrow and
Thursday’s swim meets - please visit the “events”
tab on the website to sign up!
Please also remember we need you to declare your swimmer as
“attending” or “declining” each swim meet.
If you no longer can attend, please let us know ASAP so we
can make the necessary adjustments before the heat sheets are
distributed. All regular swim meets are available on the
website to declare attendance and volunteer job sign ups.

Heat sheets will be emailed by Coach Dylan tomorrow, and they will
also be available for viewing at the meet - look for the red boards
on the CH side of the fences. If you aren’t sure how to read
your swimmer’s events, just ask!
Swim team t-shirts are in, and will be available for your swimmer
to pick up at tomorrow morning’s practice if they have not
done so already! They are included in your registration cost.
We will have extras available to purchase, soon.
Our Thursday meet is away, at Miamisburg (Sycamore Trails
Aquatic Center, 400 S Heincke Rd, Miamisburg OH 45342). Warmups in
the water at away meets begin at 5:30. Driving directions and
addresses for all away meets can be found on our website.

The preorder will close at midnight on Sunday, June 26th. The
shirts are $8 plus tax, and will be bagged and waiting for pickup
