End of Season RSVPs Requested!
GREAT JOB last night against Germantown, Cardinal Hill!  We know you’re ready to do it again tomorrow night against Idle Hour!
This email has LOTS of info about end of season events!
1.    Monday’s 4th of July parade info!
This coming Monday is Beavercreek’s 4th of July parade, and Cardinal Hill Swim Team is excited to be participating!  If you would like to participate, please have your swimmer wear their CHST team shirt, and be ready to walk!  The parade runs from Meadow Bridge Drive to Beavercreek High School.  Our spot is at cone #30 on the North/Shoup Park side of Meadow Bridge Drive.  Please plan to arrive between 4-5pm.  The road closes at 5:30, so it is important to be in our parade position before that.  Our group will walk and pass out waters to parade attendees.  We will need some adults to walk with us, and also some wagons to pull the water as it is passed out.  If you are not walking with your swimmer, you must be at the high school and ready to collect your swimmer when our spot in the parade is complete.  Please RSVP on the website if you are planning to join us:
2.    PASTA DINNER - 7/8/2022
Next Friday, July 8th, is our final practice of the season.  It is an EVENING practice -
6-6:30pm - 8 and under practice
6:30pm - 8 and under group eats dinner
6:30-7pm - 9 and older practice
7pm - 9 and older eats dinner
7:30 - clean up
All are welcome to join!  There is an event for this dinner on the website - please RSVP now (attend/decline, you know the drill now!) so we know how much food will be needed.
If you are attending Champs, we have a group that is willing to go after the dinner and take pop up tents (thank you, thank you!!)  Bring your pop up tent with you to the pasta dinner, and it will be transported to West Carrollton so it is set up for you Saturday morning!  They need some additional volunteers to help set up all of the tents - they are looking for 8 people to come and make the job easier.  If you bring your tent to be put up Friday night, please label it clearly with your name.  You are responsible for tearing it down and taking it with you from Champs.  If you are able to help, please respond to this email.
3.    CHAMPS! - 7/9/2022
Our “Champs” championship meet will be held on Saturday, July 9th at West Carrollton.  I will send another email specific to Champs as we get a little closer…  Cardinal Hill’s warm up time is 7:25-7:45 - please make sure your swimmer is there by 7 so you can find your tent and be ready to go.  The championship usually wraps up by 6pm.  In order to qualify for Champs, your swimmer must have participated in 2 regular season meets.  There are no coaches in the water for the Champs meet
Cardinal Hill is responsible for providing volunteers for Timers and Heat Winners for Champs - please visit the website to claim your role!
4.    AWARD CEREMONY - 7/10/2022
Please join us for an Award Ceremony to celebrate your swimmer’s season!  Sunday, July 10th at 3pm we will host our award ceremony in the clubhouse.  Following the ceremony, we will have ice cream for your swimmer, and CHRC is allowing us to stay and swim until 6pm!  Please let us know that you will be coming so we can have enough ice cream supplies.
Lots of info - thanks for sticking with me!  To recap, here is some homework:
  1. RSVP if you are planning to join us in the parade:
  2. RSVP for Pasta Dinner:
  3. Respond to this email if you can help set up tents at West Carrollton
  4. Sign up for your Champs volunteer position:
  5. RSVP for Awards so we have enough ice cream:
If you’re still with me - THANK YOU!  Thank you all for your continued support of your swimmer this season.  It has been a great season so far, and I can’t wait to see what they can do these last 2 weeks!
