Weekly Update (Week 7) - LAST WEEK

WOW! We are entering our last week of the swim season
already! This is by far our busiest week, lots of exciting
things happening!
Monday’s 4th of July Parade
Please plan to arrive between 4-5pm tomorrow if you are attending
the parade! The road closes at 5:30, so you must be in position by
then. The parade runs from Meadow Bridge Drive to Beavercreek
High School. Our spot is at cone #30 on the North/Shoup Park
side of Meadow Bridge Drive. Look for Monika Carpenter as your
contact person! Wear your Cardinal Hill Swim Team spirit gear
and come ready to walk and wave! If you have a wagon or
wheeled cooler, please bring that as well to help pass out bottles
of water we will provide.
-There will be NO PRACTICE tomorrow evening, July 4th.
-We will resume regular practices for Tuesday morning, Wednesday
evening, and Thursday morning. Friday, July 8th will be our
last season practice, and it is an EVENING practice.
Swim meets - Tuesday and Thursday evenings. Warm up is
at 5:30pm on Tuesday at Vandalia Cassell Hills Swimming Pool (1061
Taylorsville Dr, Vandalia 45377). Warm up is at 5pm on
Thursday at home. Please check the events tab to see if any
jobs are still needed.
Friday, July 8th- Pasta Dinner
Please see the previous email and/or the news section of the swim
team website for more details on the pasta dinner. Reminder,
the 8 and under group will practice Friday evening from 6-6:30, eat
at 6:30. The 9 and older group will practice from 6:30-7, eat
at 7. Clean-up at 7:30 will make sure that our swimmers can
get home for a good night’s rest before our Champs meet on
Saturday!
Saturday, July 9th - CHAMPS!
Please see the previous email and/or the news section of the swim
team website for more details on the championship meet. As a
reminder, our warmup time is 7:25-7:45 so please make sure to be
there by 7am to give your swimmer time to get situated. Bring
lots of water, snacks, and something to do in your down time!
Coaches’ gifts
If you would like, you may donate towards an end of the season
coach’s gift for our wonderful coaches who have made this
season so successful. You can give cash to any board member
or Tasha Nuttbrock. This may be done at a practice or meet -
but no later than Champs so Tasha has time to get everything ready
for them! Thank you for your consideration! We think
our coaches are the best!
Sunday, July 10th - Awards
Please join us for an awards ceremony to celebrate our swimmers!
Sunday, July 10th at 3 pm, we will wrap up our season by
recognizing the hard work your swimmers have put in this year.
The pool is allowing us to swim (for fun!) after our ceremony
is over, until 6pm.
Such a big THANK YOU to all who have participated and helped out
this season. It truly takes a village, and we appreciate it
so much!
