Tolu Competing at 2022 Commonwealth Games!

After a very successful short course and long course season, UPAC’s Tolu Young (17) was selected to the Fiji Senior National Swim Team and is representing Fiji this summer at the Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, UK! We are so excited for you, Tolu, and cannot wait to cheer you on!

Tolu is one race in so far - he competed Fiji's mixed 4 x 100 LCM freestyle relay, leading off in a blistering 52.2!





Tolu anchored the men's 4 x 100 LCM freestyle relay this morning, splitting a 51.66, helping Fiji qualify for the finals AND breaking the National Record!


Tolu's finals split (anchor) was a 51.47!


- On the indivudaul 100 LCM freestyle, Tolu dropped a 52.47!


- On the individual 50 LCM breastroke, Tolu swam a lifetime best 30.76 - winning his heat!


- On the individaul 50 LCM freestyle, Tolu smashed a 23.62.
