Terri's Future Goals: I will be attending the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health to receive my Masters of Health Science in Environmental Health Science with a track in Global Health and Sustainability. I will be graduating with a Masters in Spring 2014. In the future, I plan on going to medical school to become a neurosurgeon or orthopedic surgeon.
Terri's Message to Younger Swimmers: My favorite quote that I always go by is “Keep your eyes on the prize.” Swimming is a sport that takes determination AND discipline. I believe these components are what helped me the most through life, especially in college. The skills that I have learned through swimming so not only apply to the pool. Keep pushing regardless of what anyone says. At the end of the day when it is time to race or time for an exam, there are no coaches or professors to assist you. They have done whatever they can to help you. Learn then take what you have learned and apply it to the best of your ability. It will be worth it in the end. Shout outs to Coach Dre, Coach Deuel, and Coach Shaam! :D
