Aquazot Swimmers Excel in the pool AND in the classroom!


Aquazot Swim Club has the MOST swimmers recognized on USA Swimming’s Scholastic All-America Team in Southern California!

16 Aquazot Swimmers are recognized, with the next highest team in S. CA having 7 swimmers.

USA Swimming recognizes its members who excel both in the classroom and in the pool. The Scholastic All-America Team is made up of high school student-athletes who have a grade point average of 3.5 or higher and who have achieved the required time standard in a single event. To be eligible for this recognition, swimmers must have completed 10th, 11th or 12th grade and must be a USA Swimming athlete member at the time of the swim and at the time of the application.

Requirements for acceptance are: 
• GPA Requirement – minimum 3.5 GPA for the current academic year. Most Aquazot scholar-athletes had 4.0 or above GPA.

• Pool Requirements 
     o Applicants must have swum a time equal to a Junior National 2011 bonus time in any event during the SAA qualifying period (August 16, 2014 – August 15, 2015) with qualifying times in SWIMS.
