SMRT Swimmers shine in The 2014 SCSHL 4 & 3 A State championships in Columbia this weekend.
In the "AAAA" Championships Ethan Thrasher helps West Ashley to a 5th Place Team finish. Ethan dropped more than 2 seconds from his season best and 1.7 from his Life Time Best in The 100 Fly finishing 2oth with a time of 56.24. His relay splits of 25.37 (50 Fly), 23.20 (50 Free), 50.99 100 Free, were all "LTB's) for the 200 Medley Relay (9th), 200 Free Relay (7th), and 400 Free Relay (8th) respectively. Justin Lawrence swimming for James Island also had two LTB's in the 50 Free (23.41/22nd) and 100 Free (52.09/22nd). Matthew Agostinelli represented Stratford in the 200 Free (1:58.17/28th) and the 500 Free (5:11.97/27th) the 500 being a LTB.
On the Girls side on 4 "A" Emorie Thrasher helps West Ashley to a 15th place Team finish by placing 24th in the 50 Free with a season best (26.51), and her 100 Free split of 59.42, another season best, helped her 400 Free Relay place 15th.
In The Class "AAA" Championships Cassidy Rindge helped Academic Magnet to a 2nd place Team finish with an 8th place finish in the 200 IM (2:23.40) and a 15th placing in the 100 Back (1:04.59), both swims season best times. Her Splits of (29.92 50 Back) and (59.10, 100 Free) in the 200 Medley Relay (2nd), 400 Free Relay (4th) respectively.

focus on TEAM SMRT of USA Swimming.
