Grant Shoults Commits to Stanford

Mission Veijo Nadadores swimmer, Grant Shoults, has committed to attend Stanford University in the fall of 2016. “I’m always proud of my swimmers when they make their decision to move on to the university of their choice, and this certainly is no different,” said Nadadores Head Coach, Bill Rose.

Shoults was recently named the Orange County Register Male Swimmer of the Year. Shoults broke the national private high school record in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:34.54 at the Division 1 CIF Championship this spring. Shoults was also Divsion 1 CIF champion in the 200 free in 2014. Shoults also broke the Division 1 CIF and Orange County records in the 500-yard freestyle, finishing in 4:15.56. Additionally, last summer, Shoults represented Team USA in the World Junior Championships in Hawaii.
