YMCA Championships- High School Times Policy

As we approach our championship season, please be aware of the following YMCA policy regarding the use of high school times:

The YMCA National Meet Committee has ruled that the only high school times allowed for YMCA National qualifying will be times achieved at meets with USA Swimming observed status.  However, times achieved at certain high school meets will be allowed this year for entry submission to NJ Silvers and NJ State Championships.  Below is the list of meets that will be accepted.

Allowable HS Meets for NJ YMCA Championship Qualifying
-Conference Championships
-County Championships
-Meet Of Champions (MOC)
-Any other HS Championship-level meet that utilized electronic timing system

Any coaches using times from these meets should be prepared to provide printed POT with entry submission.  A meet official's signature is NOT required for submission, however you will be required to provide signatures with your POT during the team registration process if you use times from an observed meet for YMCA National meet qualifying.

The Silver and State meet packets will reflect this policy when the meet information is finalized.

Please see the newly posted FAQ's surrounding YMCA meets which can be found in the "Documents" tab of the league website.

VERY IMPORTANT: Please note, it will be the swimmers' responsibility to notify us via email of any high school swims that meet this criteria.
