Outstanding Swimfest for UTSC Swimmers

Our swimmers know how to perform at big meets and boy did they prove it this weekend at Swimfest!   The time drops were huge, the medals were shiny, and most importantly the kids had a lot of fun. The accomplishments were many, over the course of the 4 day meet, but Olivia took her last swim and made the most of it by bringing home a State Championship in the 200 Meter Backstroke!   Joining Olivia on the podium, in several of their own individual events, were Alana and Maisyn.  Will also had a top 10 finish in his 100 Butterfly bringing our total to 100% of our swimmers who qualified for Age Group State placed in the top 10!  I would be very surprised if any other club, taking several swimmers to the meet, would be able to make that claim.  Gabi did a great job swimming at Senior State while trying to push past an injury.   Watching another outstanding performance by our swimmers this weekend just goes to show that UTSC’s system for developing champions continues to get better!  Our swimmers have all of these other State Champions in the pool to feed off of and train with and the meet results speak for themselves.  Plain and simple, UTSC knows how to get swimmers to get the most out of themselves.  We develop our champions with a long term plan so that success will continue through all of the Age Groups. I am very proud of all of our swimmers and really look forward to what the future holds for these kids that work so hard.  If you know anyone who would like the opportunity to develop themselves into a champion please bring them with you to the pool when we start our journey, on August 22nd, to the next State Championship meet!  Great season swimmers and good luck to Alana and Olivia who plan to represent Team Indiana at the Mega Zone meet!
