COBRA Swim Club Starts the Swim Season with a Great Meet for New Racers
COBRA hosted the annual interclub meet on Saturday, October 15. The meet is great introduction for the Olympic Way swimmers to get an understanding of what a swim meet is all about. All the Olympic Way Swimmers are paired up with a Squad 1 swimmer to show them the ropes of marshalling, signing in, and getting signals from the starter. It is a great way to learn racing in a friendly environment and meet swimmers from other squads.
Thanks to all the officials and COBRA parents who made this a special event. Thanks as well to all the Squad 1 swimmers for demonstrating leadership and empathy with COBRA’s newest racers.
