Tampa Bay Aquatics Receives Silver Medal Status for 3rd year in a row! Top Silver Medal program in the State and #1 Ranked Club in the Tampa, St. Pete and Clearwater Areas! Congrats to all our athletes, coaches, volunteers, alumni and families that made this happen. Go TBAY!
The USA Swimming Club Excellence
program recognizes the highest performing clubs in the development
of athletes 18 years and younger.
Each team’s ranking score is based on the FINA Points Table, a power point rating system that assigns point values to swimming performances based on the Gold, Silver or Bronze time standard.
Gold swims were multiplied by a factor of 2.0 Noah’s 100 fly time was a gold swim!
Points for Silver level swims were multiplied by a factor of 1.5.
Mackenzie Stumpf has 2 silver standards in both breastrokes and Joey Licht has a bronze time in 200 Back!!
Christin Rockway (Brandon) has 4 silver standards and 1 bronze. Paxton Rhodes (Central) and Brendan Driscoll (Arbor Green) also have bronze standards.
TRULY A TEAM EFFORT!!
TBAY was 4th among the Florida ranked teams. We are the highest silver club and behind the Gold clubs of Sarasota, Bolles and the Gator swim team. This achievement is reached because of the dedication of our 18 & under athletes, their coaches and parents. The competition to earn a Club Excellence ranking continues to be more and more challenging. Earning a SILVER MEDAL status if definitely an honor for our team, but we do not want to stop there! Team TBAY will continue to strive and develop our 18 & under program to reach the Gold Medal list.
GO TBAY NATION!!
