The Orangeville Otters Swim Club hosted a Future Stars Swimming Camp on March 18th & 19th at Tony Rose Memorial Sports Centre. The camp focused on breast stroke and was directed by Olympian Mike Brown. The two time Olympian, 2006 Commonwealth Games Gold Medalist, 2005 World Championship Silver Medalist and current 200-meter breastroke Canadian Record holder, offered many tips and techniques to the swimmers. Clubs from Base Borden, Barrie, Waterloo and Brampton also attended the camp and all swimmers participated in 8 hours of pool training, 2 hours of dryland training and 2 hours of lectures over the two days.
