PWSL Week 4 Results

We did not have to wait long to see Piedmont's Emma Hannam who tied the league record last week come out strong and set a new PWSL record in the Girls 11-12 Breast stroke with a time of 36.22. Not to be out done, two more league records feel today by Peidmont's Camille Spink in the Girls 11-12 free with a time of 28.31 and Girls 11-12 fly with a time of 30.57. Congrats to both of the ladies from Piedmont. We also had 23 team records that fell today.

On the team front we had some battles for the win. Closest meet of the week goes to Sudley in a divisional match up of undefeated teams to overcome Piedmont by 7 points. Yes 7 points. Veterans Park swam a tough meet against Ben Lomond's flying ducks falling short by only 55 points. Currently we have two teams undefeated. In the Blue Division Sudley leads the way with a tough matchup next week hosting Braemar. In the Orange Division Southbridge holds the undefeated spot. It will be a tough meet next week as South Bridge swims up two divisions to visit the Wellington Dolphins. Looking forward to some close meets.

Three teams swim up in the divisional ranks this week and taking the win. Congratulations to Ashland, Wellington and Meadowbrook. Next weeks meet includes three divisional match ups as well. Lake Manassas will be hosting Urbanna. Ashland will be traveling to Victory Lakes. Finally as mentioned above Sudley will be hosting Braemar. With Divisionals so close these meets can get interesting quickly.
