MAC swimmers set new Oregon Open record in 200 Medley Relay

 Boys 200 medley relay ( pictured left, Rob Mead, Van Mathias, Nate MacFaul and Kevin Keil) lowered Oregon Open record in 200 Medley relay . They stopped the clock at 1:45.53. Previously, this record was set by Hillsboro Heat in 2012.


Competing in the morning session, boys 200 free relay (pictured right - Van Mathias, Nate MacFaul, Rob Mead and Cody Soo) won the Western Section Championship title with the time 1:36.34


Rob Mead set new MAC record and also achieved his first U.S. Open qualifying standard in 100 Backstroke. Kevin Keil achieved his first Summer Junior National qualifying standard in 200 Breastroke. 

Nine MAC swimmers earned the right to compete Nationally at the end of the Long Course season. 

Brynne O'Shea, Van Mathias and Rob Mead will be representing MAC at Junior National Championships held in East Meadow, NY in August

Elise Kreutzer, Kevin Keil, Anna Jorgensen, Cody Soo, Isabella Wallace and Nate MacFaul will be representing MAC at the USA Swimming Futures Championships held in Santa Clara, CA in August.
