Season's Kick Off

Dear FISH Families,

Welcome to the 2017- 2018 FISH Season.  As we are gearing up for yet another successful year in the pool, we would like to share some exciting news with you!

First off, as many of you may have heard already, Coach Kelly Rose is leaving the FISH to pursue one of her other career goals of becoming an accountant. We wish her all the best in her new endeavor, knowing Kelly Rose, she will be successful. We thank her for two years of dedicated service to the FISH!

Secondly, we are extremely excited to announce that Jeanne Fye is joining our coaching staff. Coach Jeanne will be taking the AG swimmers at Spring Hill under her wing.  Please read her profile bio and welcome her when you see her on deck.

Last, but not least, we convinced our Managing Team Director, Monika Paris, to come back after her 12-month sabbatical.  She will again be pulling the strings behind the scenes. During her year away, she has trekked the Himalayas in Nepal twice, and started pursuing her goal to run a Half Marathon in each state of the US and on each continent.  In her efforts to promote health and active living, she will host the first Georgetown Half on Sunday, October 29th.  Some of us will be running the race and we hope that some of you will support Monika’s cause: Raising money for Girls’ Education in Nepal and in Kenya, One Mile at a Time.  You are cordially invited to join us.  For more details on the race please follow   this link

Needless to say, we are super excited about the new season and we are very much looking forward to coaching your athletes and making the them the best swimmers they can be.

Feel free to reach out to me at any time with questions and or comments.

Your Head Coach,

Coach Matt
