Another season has started, which mean planning has begun for upcoming events as well as our PSW hosted swim meets. Putting on a swim meet, and hosting clubs from around the country definitely takes our whole “village”, and we look forward to having all hands on deck this season to help run some of the most successful PSW competitions yet. One of the ways that our members can get involved is by becoming a timer, an official, working with the electronics, etc. All these positions are integral to the running of the meet, and it is important that we have trained members in our club.
The first step to becoming one of members on deck is to attend one of the Officials Clinics that are put on by the LMR Officials Committee. We are excited to let everyone know that there are two clinics coming up! Please see below for more details:

Your LMR Committee is sponsoring the first two complete Swimming Natation Canada (SNC) clinics of the season. We encourage the participation of all volunteers in the Swim BC community.
Level 1 Intro to Swim Officiating and Timekeeping; Chief Timekeeper; Stroke & Turn; Electronics; Clerk of Course; Starter
