Parents and Swimmers,
WAVE had a great meet this past weekend at the October Challenge Meet in Marysville. This was the first meet full meet weekend of the year and the kids did a tremendous job. We had tons of best times and some great technical gains at the meet. Great work to all the swimmers.
A quick note, we did have a swimmer suffer some pretty serious burns at the meet when his cup of noodles was spilled on his lap. I would encourage everyone to be very careful of ordering things that are heated up at swim meets, since it is very hard to tell how hot they have made some things. The swimmer is doing well, but I wanted everyone to know so they can keep an eye out and it doesn’t happen twice.
