Our ‘Cudas kicked off the 2017-2018 Short Course Season in great form at this season’s Fall Festival of X-Cellence this weekend at Princeton University. Hundreds of swimmers from over 30 teams were in attendance. Our 25 swimmers earned 23 Career Best Times, some first-time swims, and even a few top finishes!
Among these swims were some big time drops from Peyton Alviani’s 50 Free (-3.75); Jacob Conklin’s 50 Breast (-3.32); Ethan Cross’ 200 Free (-28.62); Chris Gutierrez’ 50 Breast (-3.29) and 50 Fly (-6.49); and a hat-trick with Billy Ruddy’s 100 Breast (-8.15), 100 Fly (-5.42), and 200 Free (-13.31). There were many other great swims, as well.
Despite some stiff competition, Barracudas garnered some top spots. Top 16-Places were swum by Jillian Berg (8th in the 400 IM); Andrea Carlson ( 14th in the 200 Back); Jake Riva (4th in the 200 Free and 5th in the 50 Free); and Sam Russell (4th in the 400 IM and 15th in the 50 Free)!
Congratulations to all of the swimmers! Results have been uploaded into the system; check out My Meet Results in your account or on OnDeck.
Next up is the Monster Mash long course meet on 10/28…
