KSC Wins Fall Senior Champs


Kamehameha Swim Club won the Hawaii Senior Championships this past weekend in a very competitive event. Punahou Aquatics finished second with FAST from California finishing third.  Grace Monahan took the female High Point Award, winning all of her events.  Naomi Nakaya and Noah Peters had the biggest percentage time improvements with Naomi's 2:15.82 200 Fly (8.44 sec drop), and Noah’s 53.44 100 Backstroke (2.33 sec drop). Grace Monahan established new 13-14 team records with her 50 Back (26.50), 500 Free (4:57.62), 400 IM (4:23.25), and 200 Fly (2:00.17). Her 50 Back, 400 IM, and 200 Fly were also 13-14 Hawaiian State Records. Noah Peter’s also established 13-14 team records in his 50 Free (21.96), and 50 Back (24.73). His 50 Back was also a 13-14 Hawaiian State Record. Michael Petrides established a 17-18 team record in his 100 Back (50.19).
