CMA had a small group of Senior swimmers fly down to Orlando for the YCF Almost Turkey Invitational. With some of the more demanding races that our Senior swimmers compete in, being at sea level brings major time drops for our swimmers. We had Kambry Lightfoot post 5 new personal best times (200 back, 200 IM, 400 M, 50 free and 200 breast). Bethany Slivka clocked in with 6 best times, (100 fly, 100 free, 200 fly, 200 free, 200 IM and 500 free). Sophia Bricker also came home with 6 new best times (100 breast, 100 free, 200 breast, 200 free, 200 IM and 50 free), and in the 100 breast Sophia also posted a qualifying time for Winter Junior Nationals, which is her first National qualifying standard. Her sister, Caroline Bricker, came home with a total of 9 new best times (100 back, 100 breast, 100 fly, 100 IM, 200 free, 200 IM, 50 breast, 50 fly and 500 free), while also picking up her first Senior Sectional qualifying time in the 100 breast.
