Eli Stoll Rocks At Circle City - New Team Record On His Birthday

Eli Stoll Breaks 26 Year Old Team Record At Circle City Meet

Eli turned 14 on Sunday (Jan. 28) at the Circle City Meet and gave himself a birthday present by breaking a 26 year old team record at the meet. The former record of 55.93 belonged to Jason Holdridge. Eli broke in the morning preliminaries with a 55.30 but then came back to lower his time to 54.72 in finals. His time also qualified him for for his first ever individual event at the USA Swimming Sectional Championship Meet to be held in March.

Eli had a great meet as he dropped time in every single event in prelims and then again at finals in 4 of his 6 events. He also achieved a Zone Cut (NAG AAA) in 4 of his 6 events, as well. Congratulations to Eli and all of his GCSTO teammates for such an outstanding performance at that Circle City Meet in Indianapolis.
