With this past weekend's meet, champs season is in #fullsend mode! We put in a lot of hard work, which means we all need some solid recovery. Recovery extends beyond rest, though, and all the big things we do in practice. Most of the time, though, you have to think little to recover fully... You have to think Micro!
Micronutrients are the vitamins and minerals that play much more specific roles in our body than the more broadly functioning Macronutrients. With long hours that disrupt our usual training and eating routines, the physical & mental stress of Championship meets can take a huge toll on our bodies. Getting your micronutrients can be the difference between petering out & getting sick after a big meet or being able to bounce back stronger & faster in consecutive meet weekends!
