Cohos Fire Up!
Thank you to all swimmers attending the Coho Fire Up Dinner on Thursday evening! Great camaraderie amongst teammates was enjoyed by all present. Team shirts were distributed and reminders about preparing for success were made in advance of Districts, JOs, and State Meets. Several Coho swimmers stood up and reinforced the importance of teamwork and the fun and friends that are developed through working together. Our team looks ready to bust open the floodgates and have fantastic performances during the short-course championship season!
Team Shirts Available for Sale at Rec Center
If you did not pre-order your 2018 LCSC Coho Team shirts, they are available for purchase at Rec Center practices when Coach Vince is present. Shirts are available in limited quantities in all sizes (including adult sizes). The cost per shirt is $15, and may be paid by cash/check. Show your team spirit as the new Coho Nation generation arrives!
Parent Information Meeting: Benefits of Sports
Lindsay Fisk, licensed Massage Therapist specializing in sports massage, will present information on this topic for interested parents on both Monday and Tuesday evenings, 5:30-6:00 p.m., in the Rec Center’s “Wedge” area (tiled area just beyond the locker room entrances). Massage is beneficial for catalyzing recovery and relaxation, and is used as an important component of both pre- and post- performance by athletes in all sports.

On Tuesday nights in February, during the 5:30-7:30 p.m. practice, our team is hosting Open Houses for young swimmers interested in learning about Coho Swimming. Tell your friends at school about this fun sport and our Coho Nation!
