Congratulations to NBAC athletes for bringing home the 2018 Senior State Championship. NBAC won the Combined Championship, as well as the Men’s & Women’s Championships. NBAC has to bring it every morning and evening to get the win! Congrats to all competing teams on a hotly-contested competition for 3 1/2 days.
Special congrats to our Open Women’s relay team of Lauren Poole, Sammie Ai, Easop Lee, and Megan Drumm on setting a new 200 Medley Relay State Record to begin the meet (1:40.9). Also special congrats to Sammie Ai on achieving her first two LCM Junior National time standards (1:02.2/2:15.1 in the 100/200 Breast), and to Will Hoogenboom on his first Junior National cut of 2018 (Will had a cut last year, but he had wrist surgery, missed the meet- and the cuts got faster...so 2018 Juniors will be Will’s first Summer Junior Meet).
Also racing under LCM Junior National Time Standards were Will Pelton (200 Back), Lauren Poole (100 Back/200 Back/200 Breast), and Easop Lee (200 Free/ 500 Free/ 1000 Free/100 Back/200 Back/400 IM).
THANK YOU to our parents, families, and coaches & also to our NBAC and all MD Swimming officials who made this competition a success!
