Monday Message for February 26, 2018



  • Rookies and Hawgs – regular practice schedule all week.
  • Junior Hawgs – regular schedule Mon-Wed and Fri-Sun.  Practice Thursday for State Qualifiers only.
  • Wild Hawgs – regular schedule Mon-Wed and Fri-Sat with NO dryland training on M-W-F.  Practice Thursday for State Qualifiers only.
  • Senior Hawgs – Regular schedule all week.

PARENT MEETINGS:  Coaches will hold parent meetings this week to discuss Long Course plans and answer questions about the summer schedule.

  • Junior Hawgs:  Monday, February 26th during yoga (5:00-5:30 pm) 
  • Rookie Hawgs:  Tuesday, February 27th during practice (6:00-6:30 pm)
  • Hawgs:  Wednesday, February 28th during yoga (5:30-5:45 pm)  

2018 ASI 14-UNDER CHAMPIONSHIP MEET:  Information on Thursday's practice and team dinner, Parade of Athletes, and weekend schedule (including timeline and warm-ups) should be sent to state meet qualifiers and relay swimmers by this evening.  Thank you for your patience as we wait for information to be released by the host team later today!

FRIDAY NIGHT AT THE RACES:  We will conclude the short course season with Friday Night at the Races on March 9th.  This fast, fun format is for Rookies, Hawgs, Junior Hawgs, and Wild Hawgs.  TOMORROW, February 27th, is the deadline to commit, so sign up today!

BINGO NIGHT:  TODAY is the official launch of ticket sales for BINGO Night!  Coaches will begin sending tickets home with swimmers this week.  Each family will receive an envelope with 4 tickets.  We are encouraging our families to purchase and/or sell all four tickets.  Check out our FAQ page for the event and email with additional questions.

LONG COURSE MEET SCHEDULE:  Our Long Course Meet schedule is on the website.  Please note that the date of the Berzerker meet has been revised!

MOVE-UPS FOR LONG COURSE SEASON:  Some swimmers are ready to advance to the next training group at the end of this season.  Coaches will visit with swimmers this week and next;  swimmers move to new training groups when we return after Spring Break the week of March 26th.

TEAM BANQUET:  Please mark your calendar now for the team banquet on Sunday, April 29th, 4-8 p.m. This event is for ALL swimmers, parents, friends, and family.  More details will be available soon.

AquaHawgs SHINE at High School State Championships

It was a great day for Razorback Aquatic Club swimmers at the Arkansas High School Swimming & Diving Championships on Saturday, February 24th.  Here are some of the highlights of the meets:

In the 6A-7A Meet the Fayetteville Girls won the TEAM TITLE for the 1st time since 2002.  Bentonville was 3rd on the girls.  Here are the AquaHawgs who finished TOP 8:

In the 1A-5A Meet the Haas Hall (Fayetteville) Girls won the TEAM TITLE for the 3rd year in a row.
