UPAC started its Championship Season in Olympia this weekend, bringing over 50 swimmers to the February Divisional Championships. There were dozens of best times, heat/event winners, and new qualifying standards met by UPAC swimmers. This was a great start to what looks to be an outstanding finish to the short course season. Complete results along with an individual improvement report are attached.
Highlights of the meet included:
3 UPAC swimmers achieving their first ever Age Group Regional qualifying standards. Age Group Regionals is the fastest possible Age Group meet swimmers can qualify for that is exclusive to swim teams from Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Alaska, Montana, Hawaii, and Wyoming.
Erin Forrest (14 Girls) qualified in her 500 Freestyle
William Forrest (10&Under Boys) qualified in his 100 Breaststroke
Julian McCune (12 Boys) qualified in his 200 Backstroke. Congratulations swimmers!
