Speedo Senior Sectionals Volunteering and more!

Our largest event of the year is less than two weeks away!  Speedo Championships Senior Sectionals is March 15-18 at King County Aquatic Center in Federal Way.  Featuring over 1000 athletes from across the Western Section, we are co-hosting this meet with Mt Hood Aquatics.  It’s an exciting event, with a chance to see some of the fastest swimming of the season!

We still have volunteer positions available, and need each family to help by donating or volunteering.

This meet provides us the unique opportunity to train alongside a team that is very experienced in running Senior Sectionals.  We have set up training shifts throughout the weekend to learn key positions such as announcer, clerk of course, runner and head timer.  You will have an experienced trainer with you during the shift from Mt Hood.  We need experience with these positions, especially at KCAC as we look to host more meets in this venue moving forward.  You can find all open positions here

Hospitality donations!  Coaches and officials love home baked goodies to help them get through the long days!  Sign up to bake and deliver items throughout the weekend.  New positions have been added.

Want to help, but not sure how?  Contact me at and we will be happy to find the right spot!  There are also some limited positions to volunteer Friday and Saturday (when Mt Hood is hosting), if you only have availability on Fri and Sat, and want to help let me know.

We will also be hosting Kara Lynn Joyce, 3 time Olympian Swimmer, and founder of LEAD, Leadership, Empowerment and Athletic Development for a parent seminar about her Sports Summit, and an autograph session on Saturday March 17th at KCAC.  Watch for more details on this!

It’s really a fantastic event, looking forward to seeing everyone at some point during the meet,
