Swimmer of the Month

Congratulations to our amazing swimmers this month!

Prospects Dev
Yuni Kim
This young man has taken a big step in practice this  month . He is hitting best times in practice, improving his kick and other tests and has started showing the beginnings of leadership. He is attentive of the training intervals and helps with others who haven’t quiet grasped the “pace clock”. He is a fun guy and is currently working hard. Keep up this effort Yuni, it’s really great

Prospects Nat

Katie Fluter
Based on her hard work in practice katie gained her first AA at the last time trial; showing she can keep her composure under pressure. Katie always helps set up and take down with no questions and was team captain at the recent Saskatoon Meet. She leads activations and is proving to be a good leader. Well done Katie.

Junior Nat Girl: Melissa Adelman

Melissa has shown great improvement over the past month in training. From consistency, technique and testing she has worked well to take a step in her swimming. She had  a good camp in Victoria and achieved her first Western Cut at the meet in Saskatoon

Junior Nat Boy: Mitchell Brough

Mitchell achieves Swimmer of the Month for the third consecutive month in a row. This is by no means an accident. Mitchell’s practices are consistently good day in and day out. He improves his tests weekly and makes changes to any part of his swimming when asked in order to help himself be better.

Junior Dev A: Rachel Manzon

Rachel achieves Swimmer of the Month for the second month in a row. She has built on her training and performances from January and the results have shown. Her belief in what she has been doing in training showed when she achieved her first AA standard at the meet in Saskatoon. Her good work continued through the month.

Bronze (M/W)

Swimmer  of the  month  for Bronze M/W is Felix! Felix has really worked on making short term goals for each practice and has really improved his attitude which in turn has helped his technique. It's amazing always seeing his smile in deck! Way too go Felix.

Great attendance this month, always eager to learn new skills, great leader for everyone in silver, always up for a challenge.
All of these reasons are why Soren is swimmer of the month for silver

Eislihn has shown great improvement over last  month , specially on his kick. his attendance is very good. He has been a leader and been challenging every practice by listening and trying his best to be better.

Good job Eislihn Keep it up!!!
