CSP Wins Division I Champs

CSP swam away with their second team championship of the season by winning the Division I Championship this past weekend.  We won all of the big awards this past weekend on top of winning the meet. 

CSP was once again voted as Team Sportsmanship Award by the coaches in the Ozark.  This is voted for the team that has the best uniforms, team spirit and good sportsmanship throughout the weekend.

Kledi Kadiu was awarded the Bill Karasick Memorial Award as the best swimmer of the meet.  This is based on coach’s votes, individual wins (he won all 7 of his events as well as being a part of winning all 5 of his relays), Top 10 Times in the Nation and Ozark Records, which he set two of them.  Kledi also set new team records in multiple other events as well for the 13 – 14 Boys.

Lily Hsieh set a new Ozark Record in the Girls 11 – 12 50 Fly, while Juliette Phillips broke her own 100 IM Team Record for the 11 – 12 Girls, Sophie Henriksen set a new Team Record in the 13 – 14 Girls 200 Back.

Kledi teamed up with Ryan Mauney, Eric Ji and Lee Naber to set new team records for the 13 – 14 Boys in the 200 Free Relay, 800 Free Relay and 200 Medley Relay.

Lily and Juliette helped to set the Girls 11 – 12 400 Free Relay Record along with Alex Snyder and Anya Liu.

Winning High Point Awards were Juliette for the 11 – 12 Girls and Kledi for the 13 – 14 Boys.  Placing 2nd in the High Points were Spencer Kinsey for the 10 & Under Boys, Lily for the 11 – 12 Girls and Eric for the 13 – 14 Boys.  Anna Scott Baur was 3rd for the 13 – 14 Girls.

We had the largest entry in Ozark with more swimmers and more entries than any other team.

CSP scored more points on both the Girls and Boys side than any other team. 

We also won the 10 & Under Boys Age Group, 11 – 12 Girls and 13 – 14 Boys, while placing 2nd in the 10 & Under Girls, 11 – 12 Boys and 13 – 14 Girls. 

In winning those age groups, CSP scored the most points with the 10 & Unders out of all of Ozark as well as the most points out of all the 11 – 12-Year-Old Swimmers in Ozark.  CSP was also the only team that had each of their age groups placing in the Top 2.

With our 10 & Under Swimmers, winning events were Charlotte Brown and Spencer.  Placing in the Top 8 were Bennett Cuculich, Avery Cunneen, Colin Cunneen, Macie DiGuiseppe, Timmy Siebenman, Sophia Snyder, Camden Theodos, Evan Wiley and Madeleine Williams. 

Finishing in the Top 16 were Max Boevingloh, Wills Dino, Tyler He, Mia Panic, Stephanie Rose, William Unger and Emma Welch.  Also swimming at the Division I Championship Meet were Sonia Archambault, Shannon Bryan, Kaitlyn Cragg, Dev Desai, Evie Harris, Aiden Kim and Maitland Michaelson.

In the Girls Medley Relay, CSP was 2nd with Avery, Charlotte, Sophia and Macie, while Emma, Madeleine, Chandler Grimm and Stephanie were 8th, while Camille Matlock, Mia, Ella Welch and Anya Desai, along with Mia Singer, Noa Ben-Shahar, Bella Anadkat and Ema Stojicevic, also competed in the Medley Relays.

For the Boys, winning the 200 Medley Relay were Evan, Spencer, Timmy and Camden, while Colin, Wills, Bennett and William were 4th, and Trevor Gatz, Max, Tyler and Phoenix Torno, also swam the relay. 

In the 200 Free Relays, for the Girls Sophia, Charlotte, Avery and Macie were 3rd, while Anya, Mia, Emma and Stephanie were 7th, and Mia, Ema, Noa and Madeleine, along with Sonia, Noemi Crall, Jordyn Hamrah and Ella also competed in the 200 Free Relays.

The Boys team of Spencer, Evan, Timmy and Camden were 3rd, while Bennett, Colin, Max and William were 4th

Our 11 – 12-Year-Old Swimmers who won individual events were Lily, Juliette and Tommy Wickersham. Finishing in the Top 8 were Aidan Brawer, Trey Cunneen, Daniel Garza, Anya, Alex, and Jillian Thomason.

Placing in the Top 16 were Abby Carr, Grace Coppel, Erica Englehardt, Everdine Ferguson, Lily Ta, Xander Theodos, Henry Unger and Henry Zucker.  Also swimming at the Division I Championship Meet were MJ Bezzant, Elijah Bihun, Karson Bluette, Alex Cohen, Emily Dieckhaus, Owen Dill, Cate Fear, Sophia Goodwin, Jacqueline Hu, Caitlin Kuhlmann, Christian Lawrence, Jasmine Li, Christian Marren, Lindsay Naber, Isabel Phillips, Penny Riswadkar and Lexi Thornton. 

Anya, Lily, Juliette and Alex teamed up to win all four of the 11 – 12 Girls Relays, while Lily, Abby, Jillian and Grace were 6th in both the 200 and 400 Medley Relays, and Grace, Everdine, Delia Zacks and Jillian were 8th in the 400 Free Relay and Erica, Grace, Everdine and Jillian were 7th in the 200 Free Relay.

For the Boys, Aidan, Tommy, Xander and Trey were 3rd and Henry, Daniel, Joseph DiGuiseppe and Henry were 7th in the 400 Medley Relay, while Aidan, Tommy, Daniel and Trey were 2nd in the 200 Medley, with Henry, Xander, Joseph and Sam Ellenhorn finishing in 8th.  For the 400 Free Relays, Aidan, Tommy, Xander and Trey were 3rd, while Henry, Daniel, Sam and Henry were 9th.  In the 200 Free Relays, Tommy, Trey, Aidan and Daniel were 5th, while Sam, Luke Gill, Henry and Xander were 7th

In the 13 – 14 Age Group, winning individual events were Sophie, Eric, Kledi and Lee.  Placing in the Top 8 were Anna Scott, Margaret Beimdiek, Jessica Briers, Sarah Donohue, Franklin Liu, Ryan, Cameron McCrary, Ned Mehmeti, JD Suarez, Sophie Thompson, Abby Wickersham and Laya Young.

Finishing in the Top 16 were Steven Busch, Mary Dieckhaus, Erin Lamping, Grace Schaefer, Andrew Smock, Niko Theodos, Talia Warticovschi and Graham Zucker.  Also racing at the Division I Championship Meet were Nicole Alper-Esko, Katherine Bias, Robbie Bisch, Liza Brown, Kathryn Chaves, Amelia Dino, Jiabei Han, Emmy Hernandez, Evan Holden, Charlie Krasnoff, Natalie Noonan, Mattie Robinson, Madelyn Schoedel, Marlee Singer and Adam Sutter.

In the Girls Relays, finishing in 2nd in the 800 Free Relay were Sophie, Jessica, Anna Scott and Margaret, while Abby, Talia, Sophie and Sarah were 5th.  In the 400 Medley Relays, Sarah, Anna Scott, Talia and Abby were 3rd, while Mary, Jessica, Margaret and Laya were 6th

Finishing 2nd in the 200 Medley Relay was Sarah, Anna Scott, Sophie and Laya, while Mary, Jessica, Talia and Laya were 7th.  In the 200 and 400 Free Relays, Sophie, Anna Scott, Abby and Laya were 2nd, while Talia, Jessica, Mary and Sarah were 8th in the 400 Free Relay, and Margaret, Mary, Jessica and Grace were 5th in the 200 Free Relay.

For the Boys, winning all 5 relays were Kledi, Lee, Ryan and Eric.  Franklin, Cameron, Andrew and Steven were 4th in the 800 Free Relay.  Cameron, Andrew, JD and Steven teamed up to place 5th in the 400 Medley Relay and 3rd in the 200 Medley Relay.  William Pan, Cameron, JD and Steven teamed up to place 6th in the 400 Free Relay.
