Thunder Bolts Take on Prairie Winter International  2018

The Thunder Bay Thunderbolts had an impressive showing at the Prairie Winter International Meet held in the Pan Am Pool in Winnipeg this past weekend. There was great  team work , lots of fast times and many personal best achievements for all.  

In their respective age divisions of 13/14 and 15 and over;  Linds ay   Puhalski  ( 15) collected  1 gold, 5 Silver in 1 Bronze medal for  her efforts in the pool in a variety of Freestyle, Fly, Back and IM events. Hannah Johnsen (14) had an impressive medal count with 4 Gold and a Silver in Back and IM events. Zoe Hunt  (15 )  brought  home 1 Gold, 2  Si lver  and a Bronze medal in Free and  Breaststroke  events. Isabel Harri (13) added a Gold and a Silver for the  Bre aststroke  events and Madison  Halvorsen  (17) raced  to a Silver in the 50 Free.  

The girls 15 and over relay team of Lindsay  Puhalski , Aminah Fares, Madison Halvorsen and Zoe Hunt raced to the S ilver medal and the 13/14 team of Emma Adamson, Hannah Johnsen, Isabel Harri and Jamie  Puhalski  raced to the Bronze.  

Also swimming in the finals and collecting points for the team were  Emma  Adamson, Jett Dobson, Aminah Fares, Amy Knott, Will Lockyer, Emily  Murphy,  and  Jamie  Puhalski .  

To  continue on  with the Long Course Competitive season a group of qualified Thunderbolts are heading to the National Training Centre in Clermont, Florida for 10 days of training in preparation for upcoming meets. For more information check out the webpage.
