Strong UCSC showing for the Lethbridge Pronghorn competition

UCSC had 28 swimmers attending the Pronghorn Classic meet this past weekend – all with different goals in mind. Despite the smaller number of athletes, it was a great meet all around. There were 5 different UCSC training groups represented and all of the kids were supportive and cheering for each other which was great to see! Some of the main highlights of the weekend were:

-Ryenne Katterhagen made her first Western cut in 100 BK

-Calli Giroux made her Westerns cuts for 200 BK and 100 BR and achieved her first CJC cut in 100Br

-G12 had three new AB Championship qualifiers:

Ceilidh McKegney in the 50 fly, Kealeigh McLeod in the 400 FR, and Martin Dunajsky in the 200 BR

UCSC also had a strong showing in the relays!
